About Us
Our mission is to support foster children in middle Tennessee by partnering with local organizations to provide clothing, food, housing, basic daily necessities, and scholarships.
- 100% of all donations go directly to supporting our mission
- Short term goals provide food, clothing and hygiene products to foster families
- Long term goals to establish a Scholarship Foundation to fund tuition to select Foster Children aging out of the Foster Care System. (college, trade school etc..) We would also like to purchase homes in TN for DCS to use when placing children into Foster homes
Our Vision
We have always had a passion for charitable giving and for helping children. As supporters of Saint Jude Children’s Hospital and fundraising for them as “Saint Jude heroes” for over 10 years, we’ve seen first hand what a difference charitable giving can make in the lives of children and families in need. We initially began our work with foster children by sponsoring a foster child at Christmas, but we felt like we could do more. From there, we began hosting local 5k races where the “entry fee” was an item to be donated to foster children. Our vision for New To You was born from these experiences and our desire to help as many foster children as possible.
